Snacks

The cost of the snack fund will be £1.50 per week payable on the first day of the week.

Dinners

Dinner provided costs £1.75 per day. £8.75 per week to be paid on the first day of the week.

Parents' Room

The Room is open to all parents - it is situated at the entrance of the main school.

Library

We have a lending library of children's books. We also have book bags which can be borrowed.

Nursery and School Liaison

The head teacher in the primary school has responsibility for the Nursery Class and School liasion. The Nursery staff are part of the school staff and we all meet together weekly.

A programme of transition from nursery to primary is in place.

Nursery provision is educational and well planned. It is staffed by a trained teacher and trained nursery nurses. They strive to educate the children socially and intellectually, putting a lot of importance on the child and its environment. Learning is achieved through play.

Nursery staff liaise with the Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher and staff in the Primary School and are well aware of 3-14 provision set down by the Scottish Education Department. Nursey is a link towards easy integration into Primary School
